Rodlin Design is a partnership between Lindsay Botes and Rodger Gilson and has been going Since 1993
Part of Rodlin Design's success has been through its commitment to quality and service, hence its involvement in all major convention centers in South Africa.
With our expertise and experience in providing seating solutions we believe that we are not only suppliers to the project but also an integral part of the design team. We manufacture products locally but we also have license agreements with European and American companies. This is to ensure that we can keep up with the international trends and standards as well as augmenting the available product choices. With regards to standards, our products comply with the strict SABS requirements.
The WAVE chair has also won the prestigious SABS design award. The product blends ergonomics, style and production standards that satisfy the following; Comfort, Appearance, Utility, Safety, Economy, Dependability. Although the convention centers are high profile projects, we are also involved in projects in the corporate environment, churches, tertiary education and council chamber requirements.
Our close association with Sico/South Pacific (Sico Inc.), the largest American manufacturer of Hospitality equipment, has been very beneficial, as we have been able to develop our hospitality market and, to date, have supplied many of the hotel groups with conferencing, banqueting, room service and seating products.
The equipment we use in the hospitality industry is modular, mobile, and fold up, multifunctional equipment and complements our seating ranges, which are stackable, can be transported and be stored on a dolly.
Through the growth of Rodlin Design locally, we have been able to expand our market and currently we supply Angola, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Kenya and Nigeria.
